Service Level Agreement (SLA)

1. Acceptance of Agreement

This Service Level Agreement (“Agreement”) governs the relationship between SaavnCab, a technology platform company, and the registered Partner/Driver using SaavnCab’s website, mobile applications, call center services, or related systems. By registering or accepting trips on the platform, the Partner/Driver agrees to be legally bound by this Agreement.

2. Nature of Services

2.1 SaavnCab operates as a technology platform connecting Users seeking transportation services with independent transportation service providers (“Partner/Drivers”).
2.2 SaavnCab does not own vehicles, does not employ drivers, and does not provide transportation services directly.

3. Independent Contractor Relationship

Nothing in this Agreement creates an employer-employee, partnership, or agency relationship. The Partner/Driver acts as an independent contractor and retains full operational control.

4. Definitions

  • User: A customer booking a Trip through SaavnCab.
  • Driver: A person authorized to operate a Vehicle and fulfill Trips.
  • Vehicle: A legally registered vehicle approved for service.
  • Trip: A transportation service booked via the platform.

5. Partner/Driver Responsibilities Toward Users

  • Safe and lawful operation of the Vehicle
  • Driver behavior and professionalism
  • Maintaining valid licenses, permits, and insurance
  • Liability for fines, penalties, or legal claims arising from Trips

SaavnCab is not liable for disputes between Partner/Driver and User.

6. Platform Usage Rules

SaavnCab may suspend or deactivate a Partner/Driver for fraud, unsafe practices, repeated cancellations, legal violations, or damage to platform reputation.

7. Driver Requirements

  • Valid commercial driving license
  • Compliance with traffic laws and safety standards
  • Professional conduct and hygiene
  • No alcohol, drugs, or smoking during service

8. Vehicle Requirements

  • Proper registration and roadworthiness
  • Safety and maintenance compliance
  • Clean and suitable condition

9. Documentation

Partner/Driver must provide valid driving license, vehicle registration, insurance, permits, and tax documents. Failure to maintain documentation is a material breach.

10. Payment & Fare Policy

SaavnCab may revise fare structures. Partner/Drivers may accept or decline Trips. Fare adjustments may occur in cases of service failure or complaints. Penalties (0–10%) may apply for cancellations or delays after accepting a Trip.

11. Taxes

Partner/Driver is responsible for all tax obligations including GST and income tax.

12. Intellectual Property

All rights related to SaavnCab branding, platform, and software remain the exclusive property of SaavnCab.

13. Term & Termination

Either party may terminate with 7 days’ notice or immediately for contact office or legal disqualification.

14. Indemnity

Partner/Driver agrees to indemnify SaavnCab from claims or losses arising from Trip operations or Agreement violations.

15. Limitation of Liability

SaavnCab provides the platform “as is” and is not liable for driver or user conduct or indirect damages.

16. Dispute Resolution

Governed by Indian law. Disputes unresolved amicably shall go to arbitration under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996. Jurisdiction: Mumbai, Maharashtra , India.
